I know...I'm kinda nervous! They've already figured out the US Postal Service, too. I'm just hopin' the don't figure out ebay....

Hide your cards from them, just in case.

...and that rhymes with 'P'...

Alas, my kitties have NOT figured out how to open doors. This evidenced by the fact that my baby locked herself in the bathroom sometime during Con weekend... :( Ooops.

Not quite, but

A friend's cat knows HOW to open doors but can't quite get the friction thing going. He wandered into the bathroom with me one day and once he realized what I was doing in there, patiently tried to teach me to open the door so he could leave.

Clearly you don't love, spoil, and pamper them enough.

(that's the mantra of all cats, really)

So true! It is simply not POSSIBLE to love, spoil, and pamper my cats (or any cats) as much as they'd like.

*heh!* Now they're ready to start training on the vacuum cleaner. ;)
renniekins From: renniekins Date: January 24th, 2006 04:06 pm (UTC) (Link)
I suspect that'll never happen: they're afraid of the vacuum cleaner. I'd be more understanding about this, if they'd pick up around the house in some other ways. Perhaps a little laundry, or filing. But noooo, they don't do any of that!

They already make phone calls from your house. I recall getting a Robin-gram at some point.

ha! that cat is nothing but trouble. What did he say..."feed me"?
elizilla From: elizilla Date: January 24th, 2006 10:45 pm (UTC) (Link)
Mac used to be terrified of the vacuum, but since he has gone kinda deaf he isn't scared of it anymore. He's actually lost a lot of fears, along with his hearing. People can see him now, and pet him, and everything.

I'm picturing Elmer Fudd singing...

"Fiwe"

It was the calico, I'm certain of it! *gives suspicious look*

[Three cats on a bed, perched, potentially fierce, and possessive.]

You'll never use your mattress again.

now you need them to learn how to work the coffee pot.
hannunvaakuna From: hannunvaakuna Date: January 24th, 2006 07:52 pm (UTC) (Link)
now see, they're just looking out for you - they knew you'd be chilly when you got home, so they turned the thing on so your bedding would be nice and warm. yeah... that sounds reasonable, eh?

Charlotte has figured out how to open the closet doors in my new home - they've only got little magnetic closures, and she's *just* strong enough to open them. what she does once she's inside of there, i'll never know!

You have three bright kitties.

Hey, I dated a girl once who thought her cats could pick up the phone and order pizza.

I could imagine that..."Thank you for calling Domino's..." "MEOW" "OK, Muffin and Rambo, your usual?"
