Here is my work space. On our left, you can see my water bottle, complete with Batman cosy (turned away unfortunately). You can also spot two different kinds of lip balm there, if your eyes are sharp.

My laptop is displaying a Lotus Notes screen, and my larger monitor has Eclipse running (though you can't really tell).

I'm in the middle, using a boring Compaq keyboard. But I agree the color scheme is nifty. My mousepad has an old X-Files logo.

It's not much, but it's home-away-from-home....

Neat! Haven't seen your workplace from such an angle before. :)

Oh, and I think your icon needs some sort of faded slope in the distance :)

Nah, it just means Duke's catching some air!
:)

I agree about the slope, but I don't think my icon skills are up to it. I didn't try, but I have a feeling I'd just mess up the background if I put something behind him.

I'm quite pleased with the snow though. (:

It's not much, but it's mine. I updated with a little mini-description.

Dukes nose clashes with his hat! :)

I swear when I first saw the keyboard I thought it looked like a TI-99/4a.

Is that Lotus Notes in the background on the laptop? Evil. EVIL!!!

Nah. The 99/4a didn't have the arrow keys there. (and, iirc, the function keys didn't start until about halfway across the top row.) The color is right, though.

Yeah, it was the black and silver that really struck me, even though the layout isn't right.

Ah, such memories ... the TI was my first computer, jumped right from BASIC to TMS9900 assembly language.

Yup, it's Notes. Good eye! (and yes, yuck...)

What you mean ... good eye? You said yourself in the post that your laptop shows Lotus Notes ...

Well, I originally posted just the picture. But when people started commenting on things IN the picture, I edited the post. I thought it'd be more fun to give a little "tour" to go with the photo....

So when he commented, I hadn't added the extra text yet.
