Happy Bastille Day
At the end of our standup meeting today, Irish said to the group, "Oh and by the way, happy Bastille Day! To celebrate, you should find some local political prisoners and liberate them."

"Perfect," said one of the guys on the phone. "That's what I was planning on doing on my lunch hour anyway."

We hung up the phone and Irish said thoughtfully, "What a remarkable coincidence."

I nodded. "I guess this time of year just inspires revolution."

**

Here is how my feet dressed up for Bastille Day.

- Toenail polish courtesy of F.
- Sparkly anklet courtesy of my being way too distracted this morning, despite being late for work.
- Flowery pants courtesy of Revolution and Freedom! (or something like that....)

You made F into toenail polish?!?

Nope, just the extra bits. There's still some of me left.
