Strange Light
There is a perplexing bright light in the sky. It photographs well, but it hurts my eyes to look straight at it. I don't know what it could be; especially since I had to clear my driveway of snow this morning.

Note that when I said "clear", I did NOT say shovel! This is because two very nifty gentlemen fixed my once-again-broken snowblower last week. Too cool!

Hopefully this spring/summer it won't die again from lack of snow.

Hopefully spring will come soon!

Laugh. Nice segue. :)

You're welcome. It was worth it.

Hm. I was going to say sundog, but it sure doesn't look like one. It's probably some other ice crystal reflection phenomenon, but I haven't seen anything like that before. But I certainly haven't seen it all.
Here's a page with some pretty sundog pics; you can see that they're not like what you have there at all;

The coolest rare thing I've seen is last winter while riding in to work at about 5:30 AM, I saw light pillars. They were coming up from every light even those a mile away, reflecting off horizontally-aligned ice crystals. I'd never seen them before but they were super cool; it was like white lasers going straight up in the sky from all over the countryside.

.... and that led me to the EPOD site where I've been sitting for half an hour flicking through fantastic pictures.... gaaaah the internet! It eats time!

Aaaaagh, the daystar! It burns!

Heeheehee... we have actual discernible WARMTH in the sunshine today. And flowers. And frogspawn. Spring WILL return to the frozen North.
