Best Holiday Ever
Today is my favorite holiday. Happy Groundhog Day everyone! The groundhogs (Phil and Woody) agree: there will be six more weeks of skiing this year. Or snowboarding.... I've recently started to wonder if snowboarding might be better on my knees than skiing. But the important thing is: six more weeks of fun in the snow!

(It's better not to think about the cold drab ickiness that can also come with winter. Just focus on the good stuff. Fluffy white fun!)

I don't remember if I asked you already or not - do you want to go skiing up north this weekend?

M and I are going to NYC this weekend... otherwise I'd love to though. Thanks!

You can ski and I will stick to building snowmen and throwing snow balls.

I was watching the Weather Channel this weekend, realizing that the storms were all moving off shore, with no new ones in sight, and thought, "Wow, not a cloud in *North America* for Groundhog Day. Is that a message, or what?" And it's true: I've seen only white, puffy clouds in an otherwise clear blue sky all day. Flee, little groundhog, flee! Spring is going to be late indeed.

Waking up to Sonnny and Cher

The movie is one of my all time favorites. As much wisdom as laughter in it.

Whenever I start to try to tell about one scene in it, I feel like another scene needs to be described too, and so on until I just wind up telling people to rent the movie.
