My buttbone still hurts, although only sometimes.

I got up this morning at 5am and dragged myself over to the ice arena. Since I'm going out of town this weekend (to NYC! to see The Producers! yay!), I wanted to get in a speedskating practice to make up for the one I'll be missing.

It was a good practice, but tiring! My endurance is still not very good, and it was an endurance-practice. We skated several sets of 13.5 laps each. Me, I'm happiest doing 3-5 laps at a time.... I wish I felt more energized after exercising so early. I should, after all: it's supposed to be good for you. I guess I'm not really sleepy or anything, come to think of it...but I do feel very muscle-weary. I'm awake and in a good mood, but all of my muscles feel drained and lethargic. I guess this is just a sign that I need to do this more often, to get in better shape.

Now I have a full day's work, followed by synchro practice this evening from 11pm to midnight. Maybe I'll try to take a nap after work. Although I was informed this morning that speedskaters don't sleep. Maybe that's my problem: I like sleeping too much!
