Obviously, it's not. *sigh* Getting to work was challenging but not really too bad. Motivating myself to leave the house was much harder. I was exhausted for some reason, and could barely drag myself out of bed this morning. When I saw the white crap everywhere, I crawled right back in. Even once I was up, I kept drifting back to my back room, hating the idea of venturing out. I like snow, I really do....I'm just tired of it. Tired of being cold.
There are tulips, daffodils, and crocuses trying to poke their heads out of the ground in my yard. I even saw a couple of tiny yellow crocus-blooms last week. Before they were covered with freezing rain, layers of ice, and now a few inches of snow. I wonder if they'll be okay. I hope so.
In other news, Steve Hartsel was at my speedskating practice yesterday....yet another figure skater searching for a new sport. It was his first time on speed skates....I gave him a few pointers on how to make the transition. I'm still such a beginner myself though, I didn't feel right saying much. Probably the only chance I'll have to give a skater of his caliber pointers, though!
