Class went fairly well. Once I started moving, my pains lessened (or at least became less noticeable). When the music and dancing stopped, I would notice my head pounding again, but I still did fairly well. I managed to have fun; it's a good group of people there.
I came home tired, headachy, and sweaty....tossed a veggie burger into my toaster oven and poured myself a glass of juice, then I noticed my answering machine light was blinking. I checked the message, and it was C, telling me that Great Big Sea was doing a live show on CBC television!
After just a bit of struggle I was able to find the correct channel, and I caught the last 20 minutes or so of their show. It was so cool to see them again! Even despite my headache, I turned the volume up all the way when General Taylor started playing.
What a nice way to end the evening. Along with seeing and hearing a wonderful band, I got to enjoy some Canadian television. I learned all kinds of useful things. For example, the $0.99 menu at my Wendy's is known as the "$1.39 menu" over there. Those crazy Canadians.
