Happy Feet - cellophane — LiveJournal
the story of an invisible girl
Happy Feet
I have yet another new icon. Not Duke-related, but still fun. I'm dedicating this one to anderale, who is my happy feet partner (I found her journal because of this shared interest). This picture shows my feet at their happiest and most colorful, when they are wearing their bright stripey socks and their purple tie-dyed converse sneakers.

I think it was retepsnave who was talking with me about this awhile back about this. I think skaters and dancers tend to be extra obsessed with their feet. Maybe because we use and abuse them so much! We depend on them very heavily (pun intended), so we like to dress them up in fun socks and shoes. We try to keep them happy.

WOW! those sneakers are way cool! I bet the cost a ton though. I mean if I knew the secret of tying sneakers into knots, I would charge people hella bucks to do it.

Happy feet, I've got those happy feet
Give them a low down beat
And they begin dancing
I've got those ten little tapping toes
And when they hear a tune
I can't control my dancing heels
To save my soul
Weary blues can't get into my shoes
Because my shoes refuse to ever grow weary
I keep cheerful on an earful of music sweet
'Cause I've got happ happ happy feet
Weary blues can't get in our shoes
Because our shoes refuse to ever grow weary
We keep cheerful on an earful of music sweet
'Cause we've got happ happ happy
'Cause we've got happ happ happy feet

Well, Rennie, looks like you have more than one Muppet-loving pal. :)

Greyguy...I wanted that picture as my LJ icon but couldn't compress it. Maybe I'll just use Floyd instead. He was always my favorite of the group. Great singer, great musician and he got the babe-a-licious Janice as his girlfriend! :)

No hard feelings though.

And Rennie, I love your new icon...especially those stripey socks! :)

I just stole the image from the character bios on Muppet.com and it resized fine for me.

If you like Electric Mayhem, I was just at the mall and saw a boxed set of Dr. Teeth, Floyd, Janice, and Zoot stuffed dolls. It was very cool, even if it didn't have Animal.

Ah! Here's the link:

Well, here's my first attempt at an LJ icon. And I have seen those Muppet dolls before. Animal had his own doll made recently, so that's why he's conspicuous by his absence. :)

I collect the TMS action figures, myself. I'm looking forward to the next batch, with Statler and Waldorf. I proudly display them, which is why I now have no coffee table.

Cool icon!

I've seen the action figures but haven't picked up any of them. I know that if I got one of them, I would want them all :)

Hey, if you want help making any other pictures icon-sized, just let me know. I have software that does it really easily.

...what I could *rully* use is something that could convert .bmp images to .gif/.jpg so I can use them as icons. I wanted to make ones of Mr. M and Mr. J from "The Letter People" but the pics I took off the Net aren't .gif or .jpg files.

If you had something that could *convert* images...you would have my undying gratitude.:)

So it would seem you are as delightfully multicoloured as you are delightfully multifaceted.

YAY! :D Happy feet make me happy all over! I LOVE the icon!!

I wonder why I am obsessed with my feet being happy, I can neither dance nor skate. I guess I'm just weird.

Glad you like it! (:

It's okay: you can be feet-obsessed even if you aren't a skater....I don't think you're weird.
