Poll Results

I think my poll was very informative, and we can learn a lot from it. To make things more interesting, I've decided to assume that the respondents' opinions reflect the world's opinion in general. Therefore given its current number of respondents, 24, we can infer the following:

  1. Precisely 50% of the earth's population is female.
  2. Only 4.2% of the earth's population doesn't eat ice cream.
  3. There does not exist a single person anywhere who doesn't like ice cream.
  4. Everyone (who can) eats ice cream at least a few times a year.
  5. Even some people who "can't" eat ice cream eat it anyway (and who can blame them?).
  6. 91.6% of the earth's population eats ice cream in the winter as well as the summer. (Take that, store-guy!!!)
  7. Only 33.3% of the population won't eat ice cream for breakfast.
  8. I am not capable of formulating coffee questions appropriately.
  9. A lot of people don't drink coffee....lots more than the 4.2% who don't eat ice cream.
  10. Ice cream is far more popular than coffee, by 39.7%.
  11. Toffee is the most popular ice cream addition -- 16.7% had some form of it in their favorite flavor.
  12. 20.8% of the population lists a Ben and Jerry's flavor as their favorite.
  13. As to gender preference, 37.5% indicate that women like ice cream more than men do, 16.6% indicate that men like it more, and a resounding 45.8% prove that gender does not play a roll in ice cream preference!

hmmm. Suddenly, I am hungry. I have a strong craving for ice cream. I wonder why?
