Travelin' Girl

I've been working every weekday, and traveling (just about) every weekend. It's all good things, but boy are my arms tired is it tiring!

3 weekends ago: NYC for family, shows, etc, then Cleveland
2 weekends ago: I didn't travel, but had out-of-town family visiting
1 weekend ago: Connecticut for Otherworld
this weekend: driving to Madison WI for annual reunion with friends
1 weekend future: flying to Colorado for Java conference
2 weekends future: still in CO, returning sunday (Halloween)

So if you know me in real life, or thought you knew me in real life before I vanished from sight, this is why. On the plus side, November is travel-free. It will be nice to finally catch up with all of my friends who I haven't seen, or only seen glimpses of, in far too long....

(I've been keeping busy even on weekdays: last night my sister and I saw Thoroughly Modern Millie downtown, which I loved! Words like "charming" and "delightful" spring to mind, even though they are probably too cliched to do it justice. It was fun, and I especially liked the tap dancing. Then I hit VP for some serious (non-tap) dancing.)

Oh, and stalker-types? You might think this would be a good time to rob my house, but you would be wrong. You have no idea how vicious my attack cats are. Not to mention two fierce Bun Buns guarding the place!

Besides, I really don't have anything worth stealing.
