(no subject)

I'm in sunny New Hampshire! At least I think it's sunny, what glimpses I've had of the day through closed window-blinds.

My first day of the colo went well. I didn't have any of those awful "can barely keep my eyes open" moments that long meetings will sometimes bring out in me, so that's positively wonderful. Hopefully I will remain equally if not more alert all week.

I carefully packed my running shoes, then managed to forget to bring workout clothing. Oops. Fortunately one of my coworkers was going to Wallmart after work today, so a couple of us bummed a ride. I bought a simple exercise outfit and a bottle of Listerine. (I decided not to try to battle the airport security for my medicated mouthwash.) I showed it to him, a regular- if not small-sized bottle, intoning, "More mouthwash than you can take on an airplane."

Then we went out for Japanese food for dinner, and I had some great terriaki seafood. Yummmm. Of course it was 10pm by the time we got back, which is really too late to exercise.... but now I have clothes for it, so I will definitely get a workout of some sort tomorrow.

I also intend to see the sun! Hopefully they'll let us walk to the nearby co-op for lunch tomorrow, instead of catering pizza and having us work through the meal.
