I began Day Two of my vacation by sleeping in. It was a more slow-moving day in general, which we needed. Sis and I stayed in Manhattan with our aunt while Dad stayed in NJ with Grandma.
When he joined us, we walked over to Central Park and leisurely strolled through. When we emerged in the Upper East Side, we had lunch then toured the Frick Collections - quite a nice museum, and a good size to finish in around 1.5 hours.
An even more leisurely stroll back through Central Park, complete with boat-watching and photo opportunity, then we were back at the apt.
We rested for a bit then changed for dinner. We met most of the family at the City Grill, walking distance from the apt.
Plenty of family socializing, then we called it a night. I like the Upper West Side tho, and as we walked up Columbus from 66th to 71st street, it occurred to me what a really neat place it would be to live. (This is how rumors get started tho: the family already thinks I'm moving to Chicago from a similar remark I made....)
