Ok, let me see if I get things straight here... you comment/complain/remark/make note of that you can't remember tasks to do, but you can remember all this in stunning detail even though it happened weeks ago? ;)

I suppose I'll have to remind you that not only did I reply but asked a couple more questions regarding lunch ;P

Good point! Well....

1. Fighting with zombies in the dead of night, then bleeding to death, is a lot more memorable than "Now where did I leave my keys again?"

2. I've been asking friends to remind me of some of the details.

3. When I don't remember something well, I either gloss over it or just make something up.

4. I'm filling in a lot of the imagery and details from my head, taking how I remember feeling and writing the story from that.

Otherworld is like that, also -- it sticks to your brain even when you think you'd forgotten it! My wife and I first went in 1998, and we were talking about it with each other many months afterward!
