the story of an invisible girl
Greetings from Sienna!
The weather is lovely....finally. Got a ton of rain a few days ago, which was a real bummer. Thank goodness for my plastic baggies, keeping (the rest of) my clothes nice and dry. I was soaked though, of course. Day before yesterday, we just spent the day in Sienna seeing the city and trying not to get toooo rained on. Yesterday was nice again, and we went for a really nice ride, seeing an Abby and some EXTRAORDINARY views. I've been taking pictures, but honestly I just don't think they can capture it all. The panoramas surrounding you, just amazing. It's the kindo f thing you have to see for yourself... so I'm so glad I've been heaving my bike up these hills to experience it. So beautiful.

Well, time to go check out more of the countryside. We're leaving Sienna and heading for... um... well I donàt remember (some cute little town, I'm certain), but tomorrow's Florence. And the last bike day. I can't believe it is almost over! Couple days in Forence, couple days in Rome, then I have to come home.... sigh.

Oh well, still an awesome time. Better get back on that bike!

Ciao bella

I was going through my Favorites web sites to see if the links still worked and saw that you are in Siena! Bella ragazza! I am supposed to be leading a bike trip to Siena beginning September 9.

I would be very interested in hearing about your trip, where you went, and what you liked and disliked.

What hotel are you staying in and where is it located?

Have you cycled in Chianti or gone to Monteriggioni?

Have fun in Florence and say "Hi" to the David for me!
