"reckless sleeper"....I like that phrase!

Interesting idea with the masking tape. I've started being careful to always clip the side of my hair with the piercing on it, so my hair won't catch the earring. I think that's helping some. I don't think it catches on things at night so much as just the pressure of being slept on bothers it. I'm trying to pay more attention to it, and last night for example I think I succeeded in not sleeping on it.

I used to be afraid of electricity. Mostly because it's invisible and so potentially dangerous. But I've found that if I use a little bit of common sense (always turn off, always test first), that it's actually fairly easy and rewarding. i.e., actually wiring something isn't so hard, you really just have to complete a circle. And when you get it all done, and you flip a switch and a light comes on, that's so cool!

The garage now works, and I'm very proud of myself for that. (: The guy who installed my garage door said, "The outlet isn't working, but when I hit it with a hammer it seems to flicker. You should have your husband, or whatever guy wired it for you, come back and take a look." And I got to tell him, "Actually, I did it myself. I'll look at it."
