Metric Century
One hundred kilometers, aka sixty-two miles! I'm tired and sore, but pleased.

Here I am taking the ferry to Canada. The weather was just perfect for riding.

She just assumed she'd see you. Didn't you sign up for the ride? Why not?

She did not tell me about it!

Maybe she was going to surprise me and got lost on the way?

Did the ferry ride count as mileage? < grin >

I think what I appreciate best about your sportness is that it doesn't rule your life. You do it, you enjoy it, you show us peeeeectures (which I dig, btw) and it seems like a natural extension of yourself.

I say this because S (the boy/man) rides triathlons and is one of those horribly controlling/competetive people. So if HE talks about bike riding, you're supposed to stop your entire life and be spellbound. That approach has the opposite effect, whereas I actually look forward to yoursportish-related adventures.

I still need to do a metric this fall. Can't find the time, though.

Well done!

Yay! It seemed like a great day for it, really beautiful. We did a short bike ride Sat am and a long walk Sunday, was thinking of you as you were riding.
