Signage - cellophane — LiveJournal
the story of an invisible girl
I was in the restroom of a pizza joint in Southern Ohio, when I saw
the following hand-made sign: "All employees must wash their hands
before returning to work!"

But the word 'their' was crossed out in ballpoint pen, and somebody
had written 'thier'.

Somebody else had crossed out 'thier' and made an arrow pointing to
the original 'their'. Undeneath they had explained, 'right'.

Every time I see one of those signs, I think, "please, please, please tell me that sign is required by law . . . and not because they have to be reminded."

And I keep avoiding looking it up, just to maintain my sanity.

Oh, you'd better believe they have to be reminded.

And I wonder about the number of people who ignore it anyway.
