Race and Cold
I made a post on monday about my effort to raise money for the Race for the Cure. In case anybody doesn't read on weekends, or doesn't read on holidays, or just doesn't read on mondays, I thought I should mention it again. Read the post, if you haven't already!

And if you are willing/able, please make a donation. I personally know two people who died of breast cancer this year, one of them a good friend. It saddens me that there is little I can do to help, except give money to causes that aim to prevent and cure this disease.... but at least I can do this. Any support you can offer will be appreciated.

In much-much-more-minor news about illnesses, I still have the remains of a cold. It's been acting like it's going away all week, but hasn't actually gone away. I have decided it isn't TB after all, much to everyone's surprise I'm sure (haha). It has now taken up residence in my sinuses, in a curiously upside-down fashion. (Most of my colds start in my nose and head downward, while this one started in my chest and headed up.)

Fortunately I'm on vacation starting saturday (my birthday! yay!), and I'll have lots of time to rest more and get rid of the last bit of this ick.

I am going to be in Windsor, Ontario next weekend for a wedding... I was wondering if you wanted to meet for a cup of coffee or something.

You are one of my longest friends from Livejournal and I have never met you.

So let me know if you are up to it.
