We have showers here at work, which is kind of nice for post-exercise, either bike to work, or volleyball at lunch.

As to the sweatier after -- that's probably cause while you're exercising, you're generating air flow that is evaporating much of the sweat as you generate it, but after you stop, you're still overheated & sweating, but it isn't evaporating nearly as quickly, so it hangs around. I find that climbing is exercise where I generally feel the sweat as I generate it, rather than after, cause it doesn't generate much airflow. As opposed to biking (or rollerblading or skating or even dancing) which tend to generate very good (to decent) airflow.
