Yeah, yesterday was nice (about perfect, really), this morning was a bit chilly; 54*F when I left. My regular long-sleeve bright shirts are all in the bin, having been worn earlier in the week, so at first I just put on a short sleeve jersey, figuring "54* isn't so cold" but I got to the end of the driveway and thought "Yeah, I guess it IS so cold." and went back and put a long sleeve compression top on under the jersey.

70* this afternoon, it'll be about perfect. I get an extra ride too, since I have a dentist's appointment to get to in mid-day! Yay!

I like riding in the heat too, but this is a nice change. I still haven't gotten to ride in 100*+ weather yet, I think about 96 was the top so far; hopefully we've got a bit more heat in store for August.

I'm even sweaty after a ride when it's -25*. Actually I'm LESS sweaty the warmer it is, because I wear less and the sweat just evaporates during the ride. If I rode very far (like more than 40 or 50 miles) in the heat, I'd probably turn chalk white from the salt buildup. Gives the dog something to lick when I get home though.

I've noticed that a few months after I'd started riding regularly, my body just "got used" to sweating. It used to be that I'd start sweating only when I actually got overheated. Now as soon as I even start to warm up, I get wet. You can tell where I was on the floor at the TKD studio these days because there are dozens of drips all over it.
