the story of an invisible girl
Just Weekend Talk
I had a lovely time last night. First I went to Jenx's birthday party, wherein I won second prize in the "Mutant Hamster Making" contest. I am very proud, and I have already attached my ribbon to my bicycle handlebar. I had a hotdog, had some entertaining conversation, but missed the movie. I'm glad I was able to come by for awhile though!

Because I simply had to attend Susmadel's going away party. I can't believe she's moving away, and I will miss her very much. She's a great person and a great friend. I'm glad I met her and danced with her, and I'm glad we have electronic means of keeping in touch.

Friday night was also lovely, come to think of it. I had a delicious dinner and the entertainment of a Japanese steak chef with Sc. Plus excellent conversation and some hugs, all of which has been needed. We even swung by Silverbits' birthday party and had some hugs, conversation, and s'mores!

I've been spending a lot of quiet days and nights at home. While it is nice to enjoy my newly decorated house, reading and rearranging and spending time with my cats, it is also nice to get out and physically be with friends. So I'm glad I was able to do that. (Speaking of which... look, new crowded friends icon!)

Cool icon! Yes, you're right, while it's great to have 'home alone' time, it's also very important to balance that with 'out with friends' time.

Hmmm. I can't figure out the quote thing...

But! So glad you came to the party and had a nice time. I am going to miss your terribly and if you get cold in the winter it would be great to have you come out for a visit.
