So far the internet says my flight is on time -- score! Hopefully it'll stay that way.
I haven't written anything of note for awhile, because my brain is full of travel plans. Well, other stuff too, but I'm too discombobulated to write.
I'm worried about journaling my trip, because I'll only have a thumb keyboard for writing stuff down. I used to have a folding keyboard for my Treo, but when I had to upgrade my keyboard no longer fits. Hmm. It just occurred to me: I suppose I could write notes by hand. How extraordinary! I have a couple of nice little paper journals. I'll bring one of those.
I'll still be bringing the Treo though. Not as a phone, but as a multipurpose tool. I can't believe people thought I wouldn't want it! It's my alarm clock, it plays music, it keeps track of dates and notes, it has all my friends' addresses, it has ebooks, it has a calculator, and I downloaded an Italian-English translator for it. Also it takes pictures (though not as nice as my real camera, which also gets to come along), and in the US it's a phone.
I'm bringing my ipod (Nano) too, because it's new and tiny and nifty. I loaded it with a bunch of audio books, plus music, so it should help keep me distracted on the airplane. It's not riding with me; it's just for the airplane.
There, I think I've properly justified my electronics. It's things like shoes and clothing that I'm much less sure of. It'll all work out just fine in the end though.
I'm procrastinating because I'm supposed to be going through my mail and paying bills and stuff. I absolutely hate going through the mail, though I don't know why. It's just always been one of those loathsome tasks which I avoid as long as possible.
