Apples - cellophane — LiveJournal
the story of an invisible girl
I was thinking about my earlier post, where I said to my professor, "Please make me learn cool things without working me too hard, and I'll give you an apple." (Something like that.)

Then I continued the conversation in my mind, thusly. "But only if you really do that, otherwise no apple. After all, apples don't grow on trees...."

Oh wait.

Also, new icon.

Also, my brother once remarked that, when changing residences, moving weights is possibly the most ridiculous task.

Today I realized that carrying your weights around in a backpack to take them to class feels equally ridiculous.

All that momentum goes right back as soon as you stop spinning. OK, that's a geeky avoidance of the romance of the original comic, but you can't both read that strip and avoid thinking geeky thoughts.

Well, I don't like the romance of the original comic either. I actually debated using the pic for that reason. (bah, romance!) But I like the idea of chaotic spinning, and of trying to control time.

Whether or not it's possible.

When my friend tarkrai moved from Ann Arbor to Atlanta (before moving again to Germany), we dutifully showed up to help him move in. Offloading the truck, I grabbed what appeared to be a milkcan, lifted it about three inches, and then set it back down in surprise.

"What on earth is in here? Rocks?"

So I pried open the cover. Yep, it was full of rocks. I kid you not.

LOL. I have been walking/taking the bus to school. I own so many things that need to bring to school. It is crazy. The walking is good for me though :)
