the story of an invisible girl
Crab Package
When HakunaMatata sent me that adorable new hermit crab toy, she sent it through the mail to my office address. This was really cool, because I never get mail at the office.

When I started to open it though, and I saw the pink shell, I froze for a minute. You see, I had been keeping mostly silent about poor Lobster's untimely demise -- I'd only told a few friends. I couldn't remember if I had told her. "Oh no," I worried, a little sad and embarrassed. "She didn't get a present for Lobster? Didn't I tell her...?"

I was so relieved when I saw her note. It said something like, "I saw this and thought of you and Lobster (RIP)." It wasn't a present for the dead crab, but a squishy pink new crab! Thank goodness. And what a delightful gift, once I got over my initial concern.

(....and yes, I do indeed live in a world where people buy presents for my pets. Don't you?)

Oh whew! Poor Lobster, that was so sad.

I live in a world where people buy pressents for my pets, too. And sometimes we even have doggy parties with gifts and treats!
