My left knee hurt some. Right knee felt fine.
I like having a scheduled way of easing myself back into running gradually and carefully.
The 30 minute program didn't quite leave me at 2 miles, so I had to walk a tiny bit more to round it off. This means I only averaged about 4mph, doing 60/90 second run/walk intervals.
I'll get faster as they add more running and less walking.
I feel great right now, sweaty but pleased, and it was never miserable.
Actually the first day was quite easy, but I think that's how it's supposed to work.
The podcast was helpful. Nice having something tell me what to do and when.
I know it'll get much harder to persist over time. I really hope I keep at this and finish the program!
More than hope... I plan to, God willing and the creeks don't rise.
