Today, on a cold and snowy day in Michigan, M and I went to go hunt and kill our very own Christmas tree. We crept into the woods, found a young one of the perfect height and fluffiness, sneaked up behind it, and chopped it down. We then dragged it back to his car, tied it up, mounted it on the roof, and drove it home with us.
Upon our triumphant return, we propped it up in the corner of his lower floor and draped lights and sparkly things all over it to humiliate it.
Now I am drinking hot German wine (Glühwein), and admiring out handiwork. All in all, a satisfying afternoon!
